CM was founded in 1990 in Madill Oklahoma by industry pioneer, Ronald Jackson, who began his career in the trailer industry in 1964.  As one of the highest volume producers of a diversified trailer line in the industry, CM prides itself on a its ability to offer trailer products that cover the spectrum of needs needs and wants.

CM attributes its success to a its strong dealer network and has proven that quality products, fair pricing, and a good working relationship with their dealer network promotes rapid growth. For the first four years of existence, CM Trailers was listed as a member of the INC 500 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies in the United States. INC Magazine’s September 1992 cover story, “Great Companies that were started with $1,000 or less” highlighted the Madill, OK, based company.

In 2007, long time friends and business associates Ricky Baker and Ronald Jackson entered into an agreement which allowed CM Trailers to become a part of the Big Tex Organization. Since the change of ownership, CM has continued  with  “business as usual ”  as it continues honor the rich heritage that has made the CM name one that stands for innovative, high-quality products, produced by great people.  In addition, it is now able to enjoy access to an even a broader array of resources, including marketing and increased purchasing power, as a part of the Big Tex family which will help ensure its premier market position into the future..
